Short Story: Baby your body’s my bass by Edward W. Robertson | a #musical #companionbot #tragedy #robot #scifi

The story of how relentless attachment to a companionbot leads to suffering. About 3,500 words or a 17 minute read.

Really, I’m still reeling from the heartbrake of it all. It is the misfortunate path of many that do not know Buddhism; lives of suffering, reminiscing of past glories instead of appreciating the now.

I give it three stars, mostly because it included peaceful freedom for robots.

I would give it more if it explained that moving on by appreciating the present can alleviate this common malady. Or any other solutions for that matter.

It is the third story in the Robot Chronicles, can get the whole set as an ebook for under $5 on Amazon.
